   IELTS Exam Preparation 

This class prepares students for the exam by focusing on the following skills: essay writing, fluent and accurate speaking, describing and interpreting graphs and charts and practice in reading and writing. Candidates must complete an IELTS Entry Test before being accepted on the programme and should expect to do homework in the evening.

These courses focus on Cambridge Examinations PET, FCE, CAE, CPE. The exam classes provide an in-depth study of all aspects of General English plus guidance on exam technique. ♦   English for Academic Purpose (EAP)

The EAP course focuses instruction on skills required to perform extremely well in an English-speaking academic context generally encountered in a university setting. It focuses on improving your academic skills, such as writing essays, giving presentations and participating in seminars.

♦  Trinity Graded Exams in Spoken English

The Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) is useful  to show evidence of your speaking and listening skills. The GESE is different to Cambridge ESOL and IELTS exams because there is no reading or writing paper.  Instead, each candidate has a short speaking test with a registered examiner. The results are available on the day of the exam and the certificates are sent a few weeks after. The GESE at grade 2 is a UKBA-approved exam for spouse/settlement visa applicants.
